Sustainable Construction

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating Systemâ„¢ is an internationally recognized certification system used for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED provides third party verification that a building was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance in categories such as energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor air quality, and stewardship of resources. Developed by the U.S. Green Build Council, LEED provides building owners and operators a concise outline for identifying and implementing both practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance.
