McAlpine Creek WWMF Waste Activated Sludge Equalization and Blending Facility and Odor Control Improvements
This project included the construction of a new Concrete WAS EQ Tank and Blending Tank for WAS Primary Solids as well as a new blended sludge pump station building including pumps, piping, mixers, grinders, building and associated equipment. Construction of a new Screening and Grit odor control facility, and new 6″ to 72″ odor control duct throughout the site. Project included 12,000 linear feet of ductile iron pipe ranging from 4″ to 18″ diameter. Scope of pipe install included a 200′ x 60″ diameter horizontal direction drill. The 60″ casing pipe housed 8 each ductile lines ranging from 8″ to 12″ diameter.
