McMullen Creek Tributary at Quail Hollow Replacement Sewer Design-Build

This project paralleled the McMullen Creek Tributary along Hole #7 of the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC.  This golf course is where the PGA Tour holds the Wells Fargo Championship and where the 2023 President’s Cup will be played.  State Utilities scope of work for this project consisted of installing 1521’ of 16” PVC gravity sewer at an average depth of 10’ and the installation of six 4’ diameter manholes. The entire job had to be test drilled for rock and blasted before we could start installing the sewer line. Also, as part of this project we had to open cut the McMullen Creek Tributary for the gravity sewer crossing.
