Middle Tyger River Pump Station

Construction of a new Raw Water PS and Intake Screen to provide raw water from the Middle Tyger River to the new Membrane Facility. State Utility Contractors, Black and Veatch, and SJWD worked to‐gether to Value Engineer the project at 60% Design and entered into a CMAR contract. The project included and New Raw Water Pump station with (4) VT Pumps and AFD’s, New Intake Screen and concrete modifications on the existing dam, New Generator Set and associated electrical controls, SCADA System upgrades, and the relocation of the Sodium Permanganate Feed System. The team has worked together to continue to find cost effective savings to the Owner throughout the project.
