Steele Creek Force Main Replacement (Design-Build) Phase 2

The scope of this project included the replacement of 37,000 LF of the existing 24” sewer force main serving eastern York County with a new 30” force main including 37,000 LF of 30” DIP force main with connections to the existing Steele Creek 30” force main, 6” force main to Nations Ford Chemical Plant, and Manchester WWTP (Rock Hill). Also included, eleven ea. 4” and two ea. 6” air release valves (5 with odor control), three wetland crossings, eight 42” bore and jacks (1,200 LF) including one RR Crossing, and a 1,300 LF – 30” diameter directional drill under the Catawba River. This project was a progressive design-build pursuit in partnership with HDR.
